Well as the leaves begin to fall off of the trees in St. Louis, the real estate market has also begun to fall off a little bit. The average days on market for listings in the St. Louis MLS has risen slightly from 111 to 125, but keep in mind this is an average of every listing in the St. Louis MLS.

St. Louis For Sale By Owners are probably sitting a tad bit longer, although there is no way to be sure, since we can’t track this statistics unless the homes were listed For Sale By Owner on the St. Louis MLS with a Flat Fee MLS listing.

As I write this today, 10/22/07, there are 110 new MLS listing and 72 homes back on the MLS. There were 180 price reductions and 451 listings with a price increase. Within the past 24 hours the St. Louis real estate market has only produced 68 Sold homes, 81 accepted contracts and 85 expired MLS listings.
